Multiplying: Advancing the Gospel Through Reproduction

At Tampa Bay Baptist Association, we believe that healthy ministry does not stop with growth—it multiplies. Multiplication is at the heart of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19–20), calling us not only to make disciples, but to raise up disciple-makers who will do the same in every generation.

A Vision Beyond Addition

While addition increases impact, multiplication transforms regions. Our commitment is to see churches, leaders, and ministries reproduce in ways that expand the reach of the Gospel across Tampa Bay and beyond. This means moving from maintenance to mission, from consumption to commission, and from gathering crowds to sending laborers.

Multiplying Leaders

We invest intentionally in identifying, equipping, and releasing pastors and ministry leaders. Through mentorship, training environments, and collaborative partnerships, we are developing leaders who are spiritually mature, theologically grounded, and missionally driven.
Our goal is not just to fill positions—but to raise leaders who will multiply themselves in others.

Multiplying Churches

Church planting and revitalization are essential to reaching a diverse and growing region like Tampa Bay. We partner with local congregations to:

• Launch new churches in underserved communities
• Strengthen existing churches toward renewed mission and health
• Support multicultural and multi-generational expressions of the Gospel
• Every new church represents new opportunities for lives to be transformed by Christ.

Multiplying Disciples

Multiplication begins at the personal level. We encourage every believer to embrace their calling as a disciple-maker—investing in others, sharing the Gospel, and walking alongside people in their spiritual journey.
When disciples make disciples, the Kingdom of God expands naturally and powerfully.

A Collaborative Movement

We are stronger together. Multiplication happens best in community, where churches collaborate rather than compete. As an association of 150+ churches, we are committed to fostering unity, sharing resources, and aligning efforts for greater Kingdom impact.

Our Commitment

We exist to Encourage, Equip, and Multiply—believing that through multiplication, we will see the Gospel advance, churches strengthened, leaders raised, and lives transformed throughout Tampa Bay and beyond.

The third pillar in our strategy as an Association is Multiply. Here, our aim is to assist pastors and churches to be intentional about making disciples and raising up leaders and sending them out.
