Equipping Pastors & Leaders
God has called every pastor to faithfully and effectively preach God’s word, to shepherd his church members, and to train his members to love others, to serve in the church, and to share Christ with those outside of the church. Some pastors, leaders, and most church members need to be equipped to be able to do this effectively. Equipping is about providing the friendships, training, tools, and support needed for pastors and their church members to obey their Lord and serve and share with others.
At the Tampa Bay Baptist Association, we strive to train pastors through ongoing small group gatherings, workshops, and collaborative learning environments to be better preachers and leaders. In addition, we try to help pastors and leaders to be able to train church members in

- Disciple making
- Stewardship
- Prayer and more
We believe that when the Church is equipped, it becomes a powerful force for Kingdom impact.
TBBA equips pastors and leaders through intentional discipleship training, strengthening them to faithfully shepherd their churches and multiply gospel impact across our region.
Our desire is to strengthen pastors and leaders through its Preaching Conference training, sharpening their biblical exposition and equipping them to proclaim God’s Word with clarity, conviction, and impact.
In partnership with ShareWord Global, TBBA equips pastors and leaders with practical evangelism training to boldly share the gospel and mobilize their churches for outreach in our region.
